Water Buffalo Movie

I thought the movie was great. It really showed me that a simple act of kindness or gift to someone in need can be life changing. Even the Grandmother said that it was one of the best gifts that she had ever recieved even from her own family. I think if more people viewed this film and read the Singer's Solution to World Poverty, that it will influence them greatly on helping out and donating money to these orginizations that help out the people who really need the money. I think that the combo of the article and movie would be nuts. It really made me think about how I spend my money and what I should do with some of the money that I've earned or will earn in the future

I wanted to comment on the graffiti art, but I guess that's not a post. I really hope you work with the metaphor in your "This I Believe." Your idea reminds me of when I was in high school. I was kind of a skateboard kid and hung out with the same. One of my friends was this guy Zach who was a graffiti artist. So the story goes, our town gets bigger, big stores move in, a lot of nature gets covered in concrete. There was one particular slab of concrete by a new Costco. Very blah. Zach convinced the county to let him do a mural. It was the coolest piece of graffiti with our schools, symbols, etc. and everything was positive. Good art. But then it was vandalized??
I also met this artist in Costa Rica that for his university thesis put together something like a 5-mile mural for the community to work on together. And this was a tough community, serious drug and gang problems. Good stuff. Keep it up.
